Product Description:

Kyritz Airfield is a carefully crafted regional airfield located in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district, offering an authentic blend of modern infrastructure and vibrant flight operations. Situated in northern Brandenburg, not far from Berlin and on the route toward the Baltic Sea, Kyritz is ideally suited both for enjoyable VFR flights and as a regional departure point.

At the heart of the airfield are two parallel runways: a 1,000-meter-long and 23-meter-wide asphalt runway designed for powered aircraft operations, and a 1,000-meter-long and 30-meter-wide grass runway, perfectly suited for gliders, motor gliders, ultralight aircraft, and classic general aviation airplanes. This combination makes Kyritz particularly versatile and highly realistic for a wide range of aircraft types.

Thanks to its modern airfield lighting system, night operations are fully supported. Realistically implemented taxiway signage, accurate ground markings, and atmospheric night lighting create a high level of immersion — especially during dusk and nighttime, when the airfield reveals its full ambiance.

Kyritz is also home to several aviation clubs and businesses, reflected in numerous animations and lively environmental details. Vehicles, objects, and surrounding elements dynamically respond to the time of day, giving the airfield a believable and vibrant character. From calm early-morning operations to atmospheric evening scenes, the scenery captures the authentic rhythm of real-world airfield life.

Whether used as a training base, a departure point for exploring Brandenburg, or an atmospheric destination, Kyritz Airfield impresses with its high level of detail, functional accuracy, and dynamic implementation — appealing equally to ambitious simulation pilots and casual flyers alike.
